$124.95

NEW MODEL WITH EYELETS FOR HANGING. 70 watt fold up / foldable solar panel. i built these for using in the alaska bush while prospecting. perfect for powering the pump for my gold cube, running my laptop and charging my cell phone. separate plastic sheet to protect the panels for storage and transportation. light weight! weighs only 4 lbs. its well made and works well. the solar cells themselves are flexible and hardy. dimensions folded are 12x17. i put mine in a laptop case. just add a charge controller and a inverter (got mine for 15 each) and you are all set. for generating free power in the bush or where ever you may need it. shipping worldwide Canada which is an added $20 for shipping most other locations around $35). i use this solar panel myself and it has been a life saver this last summer. twice in the bush i left something on in my car and it drained the battery. both times i was able to start it after charging it back up with the panel.

NOTE: we have enhanced our solar panels after a season of using them in Nome and the 40 mile area of Alaska! heavy duty exterior adhesive and double mounted. reinforced heavy duty plastic. enhanced connectors between each cell. alligator clips for connecting, and Schottky diode added for charging protection!

QUESTION: how do these compare to the roll up panels that are for sale?
ANSWER: these are lighter weight and in a voltage range more suitable for most applications!

QUESTION: why is the voltage higher than 12volts?
ANSWER: 12 volt applications such as car batteries are not 12volts. most properly charged car batteries are around 13.5 volts. in order to charge them you must have a higher voltage and these solar panels are perfect for that.

QUESTION: What kind of real life output should i expect?
ANSWER: Output is relative to sun strength. We have had users report as much as 65-70 Watts in strong sunlight!
